Personal Duffel 27L

Took this in my first flight yesterday. I travel a lot for business and usually take a roller carry on and a personal item. This bag worked perfectly for me. Unlike many backpacks which tend to take up all the space under the seat and often stick out more than a few inches, this was very compact and left me lunch needed leg room. As a 6’3’ man who wears a size 14 shoe, legroom and “feet” room are a non-negotiable. This bag also held my iPad mini, laptop, chargers, over-ear headphones, water bottle, snacks, light hoodie, etc and a few ball caps - I had many liters of space left over. Love the admin panel in the front pocket and the headphone pocket. Don’t wait any longer - buy this bag!!!

Bought one for my 15 day trip from LAX-BNE (Brisbane, AU) as my personal carryon keeping in mind that International baggage requirements can be stricter than US requirements. Paired with a 19" TravelPro Maxlite. This duffle is 10/10!!!

Thoughtful & logical design. Great use of vertical space. The pass thru sleeve pocket came in handy for boarding pass/passport. Left the shoulder strap at home since I planned to pair it with the TravelPro. The top pocket (referred to as wet pocket) was used to store inflight necessities (floss, toothpaste, hand wipes, snacks) and was super easy to access.

Initially I had issues with the zippers on top but used the small tabs where the zipper originates as leverage which helped tremendously.

Would love to see future renditions with an Orange or Lavender inner lining...just a little something to make it pop.

Immediately after my trip ended I had two back-to-back dog sitting gigs and the CARRYx was the only luggage needed.

Excellent bag. Used it as my personal effects bag on trip to Alaska. Was able to pack a lot of stuff in it and used the top see through pocket for comfort items on flight. Trolley sleeve worked great. It did not tilt over which had been a problem with my previous carry ons. Loved the top opening lid. I didn’t have to open the entire bag like the clamshell type bag and I found it easier to find items. All the pockets and organization slots were great. Shoulder straps were very comfortably padded. Really well thought out bag for travelers.

Great bag with a ton of pockets for storage.

I normally travel 2 to 3 times a year. Mostly to warm weather destinations for some rest and relaxation. Whe I travel I normally use a 28L or 35L backpack. I have seen fellow traveler's using Duffle's and I thought I'd give one a try. The CarryX had all the features I look for in a small minimlist travel bag. I was able to get All of my normal load out in the duffle with room to spare. The organization on this duffle is Exclellent for my needs. The bag is well designed and has quality zips and hardware. I especilly like the shoulder strap that is magnetized to stick to the side of the bag when not needed. The CARRYX is a perfect answere for those who want to do One Bag travel. When I need to travel with more I can take my small roller bag and this bag sine it hase a nice Trolley sleeve. All and All a Great bag at a Fair price. My only suggestion is the top pocket thqt has a Clear toiletries compartment for easy access, it needs an upgrade on the quality of the clear plastic and a touch more volume. HAPPY TRAILS.

The Duffel was shipped quickly, made by quality material and its design is quite convenient for travelling

After using my previous travel bag for 30+ years, I finally replaced it with the CARRYX Personal Duffel 27L which addressed the issues I had with my other bag. While the size was similar to my other bag, I really appreciated the pockets to organize my gear, the magnets to hold the carrying strap in place and the fact that I can attach it securely to my roller bag. It fit under the airline seat perfectly and made it easy to access my things during flight.

As I found the bag a little over a week before my trip, I contacted the company and they made sure I received it before I left. I’m so glad I purchased this bag! The design of the CARRYX bag made my trip easier and more enjoyable. I anticipate using it for many more years to come.

It is light weight, organization is great and it holds a lot of clothes

After watching a video review on Nomads Nation I felt confident that this bag could be smaller, more accessible carryon bag. After a recent trip, I was blown away by how this bag was more versatile than the video showed. Easy side access pockets, packed more than I thought and it was nice on top of my carryon suitcase. Love this purchase.

Having watched the review video on YouTube, right off the bat I agree with Aaron from Nomads Nation, this Personal Duffel 27L is worthy of a 5.0 overall perfect score.

Personally, it’s an excellent all-round duffel with not too much I’d change should a V2 ever be released. All I’d change is the use of more premium materials to manufacture the duffel from, and to give access to the laptop compartment without having to undo the hand straps first to get into the pocket itself.

But overall, no complaints!

Awesome bag just shy of 5/5 . Size is great headphone pouch is awesome. Pockets are all good. Tablet/ laptop section works well. Waterproof pocket is eeh , dont love it but also dont hate it . Actually fits a switch 2in a dbrand case inside ( which is chunky) so i found a good use for it. Water bottle pocket is great too , only thing im not in live with are zippers are a bit stiff/rough and after using code of bell/sympl/aer and black ember bags for a while the material feels cheap BUT i know if they upgrade that this bag would be more expensive and well worth it .
For the price 100% worth it .
Shoulder strap carrys well only got a little uncomfortable one time i had it really full . Shape and size is great for travelling

Perfect personal item for flying.

I paired this with my checked bag for a recent flight, and it was the perfect personal item.

Pros:
Great size: Fits easily under the seat. Held my jacket, a packable backpack, snacks, and a tech pouch, plus left room for souvenirs.
Smart layout: The front pocket is perfect for quick access, and the headphone pouch is a great touch.
Versatile: Plenty of space to easily double as a laptop bag for business trips.

Cons:The water bottle pocket is a bit tight. Making the pocket slightly larger would make this bag perfect.

Highly recommend if you need a reliable underseat travel bag.

I would say it 5/5 because this has been a game changer for me when it comes to personal travel bag. I love how I can placed my headphones to the side pocket and I don’t have to take the whole bag just to get into it. I just have to grab the handle on the same side of the pocket and it’s stress free. No more looking and finding where I placed my headphones just pull and grab. However, the inside of those front pockets where you can placed your airtag etc, the fabric is nylan and you can tell that it’s “cheap” but it doesn’t bother me at all. I just love this bag and how they designed it for convenient.

The duffel is perfectly suited for my personal needs.
No matter the task, i can pack anything i need and still have spare room in it.

This is a great duffel bag. I have been 1 bag travelling for the last 7 years and have always preferred duffel bags as they seems to fit in the overhead compartments or under the seats better than backpacks. This duffel ticks a lot of the right boxes for me. It has multiple compartments allowing me to seperate toiletries, laptop, clothes and other items. The small pocket facing the body is an ideal place to keep a passport wallet, where it is safe and easy to access while going through airports. It is lighter weight than most duffels with the same capacity, meaning I can carry more items and still not hit the 7kg limit for carry on. It is also well priced for the quality of the materials that are being used and its sturdiness. The carry handles and shoulder straps are comfortable. My only criticism is that the laptop compartment is within the straps making access a bit limited. I can remove my 11” iPad and kindle without opening the straps but can imagine larger laptops would be difficult to remove without opening the straps. Overall this is a great duffel and I highly recommend it for one bag travel/second bag. P.S The thin peak design packing cubes fit perfectly into the main compartment.

What a great bag to travel with. I bought one for me and one for my husband. Thoughtfully designed to pack everything you need as a personal item/carry on. Even better that it is Canadian made!

Great bag, except for the plastic pocket on the top cover. Because all liquids still need to be contained in a quart-sized bag when passing through TSA, the plastic pocket doesn't seem to have a good use. Also, the clear plastic itself is stiff and I would recommend using a slightly higher grade in the manufacturing process. I love the magnetic hold on the shoulder strap!

Was searching for the perfect “personal item” bag to sit on top of my carry on, and I finally found the one. Storage, both capacity and organization details is really well thought out. Only small nitpick is that I’m not a huge fan of the clear plastic compartment on the lid… I’d rather it be made of a see-through mesh.

This bag is perfect size for a flight bag for a pilot. The only 2 things I would change is the grey color on the side I would prefer to stay black, most sirlines require all black for crew bags. And the plastic liner on the lid, it’s crinkly and kind of feels cheap, I would rather just have a mesh or a nylon pocket to slide some thin items in.it functions well in daily life and has the perfect amount of room. I upgraded the strap and cut out the plastic liner and it has been the perfect work companion. Value is on point and quality is good

I recently used my new CarryX Personal Duffel on a trip, and found that the layout made it easy to keep everything organized and accessible, which I really appreciated while I was traveling.
I usually travel with a backpack along with my carry-on, but I the duffel seemed far more efficient and convenient. I won’t go back to a backpack after this.
I found the duffel to be the perfect size. I was able to put everything I wanted into it (and maybe a little more), and it fit nicely under the seat in front of me.
I was also impressed with CarryX’s customer service. I mentioned my departure date, and they made sure the bag arrived in time for my trip, which I really appreciated.
The CarryX duffel is now my go to travel bag!

Checks every box for my personal item when flying! Love this bag!
